The congress party has been suffering badly due to the internal politics
and the groups which have been putting the party to disgrace. As if
that is not enough they are now facing a major issue and that is the
problem of their key members quitting the party and getting into YSR
Congress party.
Another recent blow to the congress is the resignation of Kalamata
Venkata Rao. A senior leader and a man who has a strong grip over his
constituency he could have assured the party a win but sources say he
has begun making moves to join the YSR Congress.
It is heard that Venkata Rao was pressurised by his followers and
workers to take this decision as they feel that Y S Jagan is a much able
leader who can handle things better than the ineffective congress
administration. There is still time for 2014 elections so it has to be
seen how many more will join Venkata Rao.
