Actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is excited and nervous ahead of 
shooting for the first time with his grandfather and father in upcoming 
Telugu comedy-drama Manam. Chaitanya will shoot with his family members 
here Sep 9. It also features Chaitanya's grandfather Akkineni Nageswara 
Rao and father Akkineni Nagarjuna. It is touted to be the first family 
multi-starrer in Telugu.

Talking to IANS, Naga Chaitanya spilled the beans on experiencing 
jitters. The young actor said, "I'm quite excited and nervous at the 
same time. I'm sure shooting few days together with my grandfather and 
dad will ease my tension because facing them together before the camera 
will be totally different from what it is at home."

Vikram Kumar of 13B and Ishq fame will helm this project, which will be 
produced by Akkineni home banner. The film also features Shriya Saran 
and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in important roles. It is reported that the 
three members from Akkineni family will reprise their real life 
relationship on screen as well.

In Indian cinema, only the Kapoor family - Prithvi Raj Kapoor, Raj 
Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor - have featured together in Hindi film Kal Aaj
 Aur Kal. Now, Akkineni family would be the second to be featured

damsel too was ok with the proposal. Rest assured Srinu Vytla was 
looking for his second lead girl for the movie.<br /><br />Samantha's call 
sheets didn't give her scope so she declined second girl's role. So they
 seem to be considering Tamannaah and Deepika Padukone for the role. As 
soon as Shruti learnt Tamannaah's name was under consideration Shruti 
opted to come out of the project giving shock to the makers. However, 
she sent an excuse saying she is busy with pre-agreed upon shooting

Gururaj’s cinematography is just about ok. Editing is not up to the mark. Except for one or two sequences, re-recording is strictly average. A more capable music director would have really helped the film. Telugu dialogues are just about ok.</div>

Do not compare this movie with the original classic(Amitabh’s Zanjeer). They are two very different movies. Charan has given a power packed performance and the film has its moments. A crisp runtime also helps matters. A better script and a higher dose of entertainment would have really helped matters. Still, the movie ends up as a decent cop drama.</div>
