As his current flick, <em>Ek Niranjan</em>, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is nearing completion, he gave green signal to another film - <strong><em>Darling.</em></strong> This new film has had its formal pooja today (Friday, June 12, 2009). The pooja ceremony was held at 7am at the film’s producer Chatrapathi Prasad’s office. The muhurat shot was directed by Prabhas himself while Karunakran’s father Azhagar Swamy sounded the clapboard. Kajal is pairing opposite Prabhas in this film, which has music by GV Prakash Kumar.</span> <p> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 100%;">The movie will begin its regular shoot from July. Prabhas said: “I liked the story narrated by Karunakaran. It has new dimension in love stories.” </span></p> <p> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 100%;">Producer Prasad said that he is glad to produce this romantic drama in the combination of Prabhas and Karunakaran. “After Chatrapathi, I have been waiting right script for Prabhas to produce another blockbuster, this one is apt one,” he said.</span></p> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 100%;">Karunkaran said: “It is going to create new trend. A cute love story mixed with action but will have new dimension.”</span>
