Quick take on Mirapakay Audio Songs

<b><span class="running_txt1" style="color: black; font: 14px/20px Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Music director Thaman is on a roll these days. After <span class="keyword">Brindavanam</span> and Ragada, he is now back again with Mirapakay audio. This is his third film with <span class="keyword">Raviteja</span>  after Kick and Anjaneyulu. Kick was by far the best audio of Thaman.  Anjaneyulu is a damp squib. Then where does this Mirapakay fall? Right  in between Kick and Anjaneyulu we should say.<br />

Mirapakay songs are ordinary at the best. Nothing remarkable or worth to be remembered! Just play and forget kind of songs. <br />
<br />
Adigora Choodu… number is just like any other hero introduction song. Thaman’s music sounds more like Chakri’s in this song.<br />
<br />
Vaishali Vaishali…  is Okay. Seems like Thaman has a special liking over female names! Most  of his albums consists at least one song which is composed after a  female name. Vaishali should be liked by all Vaishalis.<br />
<br />
Gadi Thalupulu… is a sensuous number that will give ample scope for the heroine to expose. On audio, it can be happily skipped!<br />
<br />
Silaka Raaye Silaka...  is one more ordinary tune from Thaman. He should stop scoring these  good for nothing songs immediately. Every album of his contains at least  a couple of such ‘cigarette’ songs.<br />
<br />
Chirugaley vasthe… has nothing new to offer. It gives you a déjà vu feeling. But this is the only song that leaves an impression on the listener.<br />

Mirapakay…  bit song is Okay. On a whole Thaman yet again scores a mediocre album.  Telugu film industry is right now running after him and Thaman is not  willing to change at all. He is scoring below average songs film after  film and being carried away by the false craze he is having at the  moment.</span></b><br />

Story<br />
A  routine romantic tale, the story is about Vikram (vikram) who lives in  Hyderabad and he is basically a very chicken hearted guy. His family  gets transferred to Rajapalayam in Kerala and this is a small place  where ancient customs and traditions are followed. The settlement of  issues is usually done by a fight of Kalari, the ancient martial art.  Vikram sees Anjali (sree divya) and falls in love with her and soon, she  also reciprocates. However, Anjali's aunt harasses her while her 'bava'  Rajan Pillai (George) has got a lecherous eye on her. Rajan is also a  famous Kalari champion. What happens from there forms the rest of the  story.<br />
<br />
Presentation:<br />
The director has come up with a rather  routine storyline but then he has packed it well with some creative  presentation but an okay narrative. The dialogues were regular, the  script was not strong but the screenplay was better. Background score  was okay but it was disturbing at times and one song was nice. The real  credit in the film goes to cinematography. Editing was alright but could  have been better in few places. Costumes were constant and the art  department was excellent. Vikram was okay in his act but he must work  hard for a longer innings. Sree Divya looks sweet and homely and she has  done her bit as required. Bhanuchander was good and he got a meaningful  role after a long time. George Vincent was a showstealer, he has  potential. Ramaraju was regular, Annapoorna was apt, M S Narayana was  brief, Krishnamohan was annoying, Ushasree was okay.<br />
<br />
Conclusion:<br />
The  film is made on the backdrop of Kerala and the Kalari fighting. Though  it may not belong to the modern time the film scores on the locations  and the greenery to give the visual appeal. However, it has done very  poorly on the storyline. While the first half looks silly and  repetitive, it is only the second half which has the right momentum and  gets few points. Overall, the film focused well on technical aspects but  was lacking conviction and connection with the audience. At the box  office, scoring a hit will be very difficult.<br />

Cineandhra verdict: Good presentation, poor content

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt  a.k.a. Sanju Baba purportedly made certain derogatory and objectionable  remarks against the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati during an  election rally last year for which he was summoned by a local court.  Since, he could not appear despite receiving a notice, the court issued a  bailable warrant of Rs. 10,000 against the actor.<br />

Sanjay Dutt  was the general secretary of Samajwadi Party during the Lok Sabha  elections held in the year 2009. During an election campaign rally, he  allegedly said that given a chance he would give jaadu ki jhappi and  pappi to Mayawati. The warrant was issued by Additional Chief Judicial  Magistrate Arvind Mishra who also directed the Commissioner of Police of  Mumbai city to serve the warrant to Sanjay Dutt. The hearing of the case has been scheduled on 15th January, 2011.</b>

<b>Well known producer Devivara Prasad breathed his last at KIMS hospital  in Hyderabad. He was 68. He was battling for life and was put on  ventilator for the last three days.<br />

Devivara Prasad produced  several hit films with NT Rama Rao, Chiranjeevi and others. Some of the  popular films that he produced were Manchi Donga, Bhale Tammudu,  Kodaveeti Raja, KD No.1, Gharana Moghudu.</b><br />
