<b>Story:</b><br />

Vinayak Mahadev (Ajith Kumar) is a bad cop, who gets suspended from the duties for six months. He is in love with Sanjana (Trisha), daughter of a big betting mafia leader. Vinayak plans to steal her father’s and other mafia leaders money which is Rs. 500 crore worth. Meanwhile, a group of youngsters too plan to steal that money.<br />
<br />
Vinayak comes to know about their plan and he joins them and sketches out a master plan. They execute the plan and steal all the money, but unexpected series of things follows which will change their lives forever.<br />
<br />
<b>Analysis:</b><br />
<br />
First of all we have to appreciate Venkat Prabhu for breaking the jinx that a superstar’s milestone movie should be formulaic. This film is different from many run of the mill movies we see week after week. The characters are extremely different. There is no ‘good men’ business in this.<br />
<br />
Every character has an agenda and is crooked including the hero. Basic plot is good and the characters are etched well, but the film lacked a racy screenplay. Heist films should be made at a breathtaking pace and shouldn’t give time for the audience to think.<br />
<br />
Gambler doesn’t follow that key rule and opens and runs at a very leisurely pace that we could fall asleep at some or the other point. It gets interesting only towards the interval point and the second half runs better with few twists and turns. Director tried to make up for the flaws in the first hour in this hour and succeeds to some extent.<br />
<br />
Climax twist is good (even though it is a straight lift from Bollywood hit Race) and works well. Gambler has its moments but it doesn’t have the power to hold on at the Telugu box office. In Tamil, Ajith’s star power is helping it to rake in huge collections.<br />
<br />
<b>Performances:</b><br />
<br />
Ajith is simply superb as the bad man. His character is ultra grey that we could call it as the main villain in this film. No wonder, Ajith fans are going berserk in our neighboring state for this film. He rocked.<br />
<br />
Arjun is good within his limitations. Vaibhav did well and Premji infused some humor into this rather serious plot. All the female characters didn’t have much to do. Trisha is alright. Lakshmi Rai is hot. Andrea and Anjali hardly have any screen time. Rest of the star cast did their bit.<br />
<br />
<b>Technicalities:</b><br />
<br />
Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is just Okay. None of the songs will be remembered. Third song on Trisha and Ajith was picturized well. Background score is good though. Cinematography is fine and the editing is Okay. The film looked stylish in most of the scenes. Apart from stylish presentation, director Venkat Prabhu will not score any points for his direction. Especially his lethargic script is a downer. It’s high time for this talented filmmaker to make slick action movies rather prolonging them unnecessarily for hours together.<br />

<span style="color: red;"><b>Final Word:</b> </span>This Gambler is just for Ajith fans.<br />

Story:</b><br />

Narayana (Rajeev) is the son of a middle class man Radha Krishna (Bhanuchander). He is a merit student and comes first in class. He achieves good ranks in competitive exams. He joins Engineering and studies with the help of donation given by his college principal. He reaches final year and then comes Keerthi into his life. He falls madly in love with her but she rejects. Dejected Rajeev tries to commit suicide and he gets saved by Karthik (Navadeep). With the help of Karthik’s tips Narayana becomes close friend of Keerthi. But she can’t accept his love due to a strong reason. What is it is the key to this story.<br />
<br />
<b style="color: black;">Analysis:</b><br />
<br />
This film gives a strong message to the youth who commits suicides for some reason. It educates them to see beyond the problem and get along with the life. Although the film is about a social message it doesn’t get preachy and stick to the basics. That is why it works most of the times.<br />
<br />
However it is too predictable and we can guess what comes next. This film based on a sensitive issue and it has few sensible scenes to keep the audience engaged. But it lack commercial elements like comedy to keep them entertained. If you like to watch a film with good storyline, then this will certainly impress you.<br />
<br />
<b style="color: black;">Performances:</b><br />
<br />
Navadeep is cool. His performance will be liked by one and all. Rajeev gives a decent performance. He has shown his skills as a dancer in this film. Heroine Panchi is just Okay. Bhanuchander, Tanikella Bharani and others did well in their respective roles.<br />
<br />
<b style="color: black;">Technicalities:</b><br />
<br />
Mantra Anand scores music to this film and it is passable. A better track list might have come good for this one. Dialogues are simple without any nonsense. Vishwa cinematography and Varma editing are neat. Director Ravi Kiran has clarity in what he is doing. He presented the film like an experienced director.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;"><b>Final Word:</b></span> Akasame Haddu is a decent attempt and you could give it a try.<br />

The influence of his work extends to the modern day, and his stories are often reworked into modern plots. It is not that his plots were particularly unique, rather that his language and characters are fascinating. Despite our respect of what many term the “master” of English Literature, there is only sketchy biographical information regarding Shakespeare. As well, there is dispute about the authorship of several of his plays, and whether some of the plays may have been collaborative.</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Most information about the life of Shakespeare is taken from church records. We know, for example, that he was born in 1564, and most date his birthday as April 23. It is certain that Shakespeare was baptized on April 26. The death of Shakespeare is often dated as April 23, 1616, but this may as well be inaccurate. He probably attended a local school, and was married to Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children.</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>When Shakespeare was about 20, he left his wife and children and went to London where he worked as an actor and playwright. He also wrote a number of sonnets, and several book length poems in around 1592, when the spread of plague closed down theaters for a few years. He is noted for both “Venus and Adonis” and “The Rape of Lucrece.” Most of his plays were not published, but were rather written down as tracts so the actors could memorize lines. So publication of the plays today is based on collected folios, and critics differ on when each play was published.</b></div><b></b><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Many of the plays of Shakespeare were performed at the Globe Theater in London, and also private plays were given for royalty, notably Queen Elizabeth I and her successor, King James.
