<b>Story:</b><br />

Venkat (Sriram) and Nikhil (Jeeva) start the search for their missing friend Paani (Vijay) and Venkat recalls their college days during the journey. Paani, Venkat and Nikhil join in a prestigious Engineering college run by a strict principal who is ‘dearly’ called as Virus (Sathya Raj) by the students. Paani doesn’t like the way the education system in that college and he always contradicts the ideology of Virus. How does Paani make Virus realize the true sense of education forms the crux of this story.<br />
<br />
<b>Analysis:</b><br />
<br />
Shankar didn’t try to make any changes to the original script. 3 Idiots has one of the best scripts and Shankar knows that making changes to the script may spoil it. Hence, the top director respected the original writer and director Rajkumar Hirani’s work and faithfully followed the same for this remake.<br />
<br />
Every scene and almost every dialog is a rip off of original version. Only change that Shankar made is he added a mass masala song for Vijay fans. That is not necessary at all. Shankar succeeded in bringing out the feel and mood of 3 Idiots in to <span class="keyword">Snehitudu</span>. The soul is not missing in this film and that is the saving grace.<br />
<br />
Even audience who has already watched 3 Idiots may not complain about Shankar’s work. We should laud the great director’s respect for another director’s work. But the problem is with the star cast. It would be hard to digest Vijay in Aamir Khan’s role. Even the choice for Chatur Ramalingam’s character is bad.<br />
<br />
Srikanth failed to bring the natural flavor that Madhavan added to the original film. Even Ileana failed to do a Kareena here. Sathya Raj is good to some extent. For those who have not seen the original <span class="keyword">Snehitudu</span> will be a feel good entertainer. Only complaint is its runtime. It is over 3 hours and that must have been reduced a bit.<br />
<br />
<b>Performances:</b><br />
<br />
Vijay is okay. Suriya might have been an apt choice. Ileana is fine. She failed to impress in key scenes. Jeeva is good and Sriram is average. Sathya Raj did a nice job. Sathyan in a key role is not up to the mark. Sunil’s dubbing covered his weaknesses to an extent. Rest of the cast did what was required.<br />
<br />
<b>Technicalities:</b><br />
<br />
Dialogues by Abburi Ravi are just the translation of Hindi dialogues. Cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa is pretty good. Editing by Anthony is Okay and Music by Harris Jairaj is a downer. Not a single song is worth listening. Background score is weak too. Production values are rich.<br />
<br />
Shankar succeeded in bringing the right emotions. There are few truly witty scenes and there are some scenes that are moving. Despite sticking to the original Shankar shown his trademark in canning the songs on high scale. Shankar fans may not like to see him redoing others work. One gets a feeling that Shankar is too big a brand to remake this highly successful Bollywood film.<br />

Final Word:</b><br />
<br />
<span class="keyword">Snehitudu</span> is a message oriented entertainer with great script value. Mass audience may not connect with the concept and proceedings and most of the city audience have already seen the original. So the success of this film will depend on how the others lap this up. As a film, <span class="keyword">Snehitudu </span>is neatly made feel good entertainer. We have to wait for the commercial outcome of it.<br />

<b>Story:</b><br />

Venkatesh (Shivaji) is a mechanic who loves Anjali (Anisha) in the first look and she too falls in love with him after few bluff games played by him. Her father (Siva Prasad) agrees to get them married and suddenly turns against Venkatesh.<br />
<br />
Having no clue about what happened to his would-be father-in-law, Shivaji searches for an answer. Then comes Prasad (<span class="keyword">Rajendra Prasad</span>), who says that he knows the entire story behind it. Who is Prasad? What does he know about Venkatesh? What happened in the background? You will get the answers from Prasad side of story which forms the crux of <span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> script.<br />
<br />
<b>Analysis:</b><br />
<br />
Actual story of this film begins in the second hour. First hour is spent on Venkatesh and Anjali’s love episodes. These are dealt very badly and bring instant boredom to you. At one point we feel that the story is heading towards a dead end.<br />
<br />
But Prasad’s character gives a twist to the tale and the film takes right track from that point. First of all don’t judge this film by its star cast. Despite the presence of <span class="keyword">Rajendra Prasad</span> and Shivaji,<span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> is not a comedy film. So if you are expecting a fun ride, you will be left disappointed.<br />
<br />
<span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> is mainly a drama based on how a common man turns god-man and how does he gets exploited by the evil beings surrounding him. Director tried to tie both the love angle and this god-man drama, but failed to set right emotions in the love track.<br />
<br />
Second hour is way better than the first hour as it is content driven. First hour is pale and aimless. Despite few cinematic liberties taken, <span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> ends on an Okay note.<br />
<br />
<b>Performances:</b><br />
<br />
Shivaji doesn’t have much to do in this film. He is alright within his limitations. Anisha Singh neither has the looks nor acting skills. <span class="keyword">Rajendra Prasad</span> is the saving grace for this film. His performance keeps the spirits going and he single handedly lifted this film from ending up as a disaster. Sai Kumar’s performance is laudable. Siva Prasad, Srinivasa Reddy and Venu Madhav are usual.<br />
<br />
<b>Technicalities:</b><br />
<br />
Dialogues by Nivas are pointless. Cinematography is substandard. Music is weak. Director failed to extract good work from his technical crew. Production values are average. Director did a fair job in the second half and failed in the first half. Had he taken care on the first half and put some extra efforts to get right output from the technical team, <span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> would have been a notable debut for him. Saying so, he did better than many newcomers. Additional efforts will take him to the next level.<br />

Final Word:</b></span><br />
<br />
<span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> is a fairly decent film with a neat second half. First half is a big letdown. If you can ignore that part, <span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> may not disappoint you completely. On a whole, <span class="keyword">Ayyare</span> isn’t a bad film.<br />

The girl was referred from  Bhadrak district  headquarter hospital to SCB in a very critical  condition on Sunday  night. The doctors carried out an immediate surgery  to save the life of  the girl. "The minor girl had sustained severe  perineal injuries.<br />
Doctors have operated on her and she is currently under observation in  the gynecology ward of the hospital," said  Dr B N Moharana, doctor of   SCB hospital.  Doctors suspect it could be a case of rape. "We suspect  it as a rape  case as the private parts of the patient are severely  injured. Her  family members are also alleging the same. We have  informed police about  the entire incident," said a doctor of the  hospital. Doctors have said  the girl, from Basudevpur in Bhadrak  district, is stable now. "Family  members have alleged the girl had gone  to a relative's place in  Simulia and was allegedly raped by some  miscreants there," said a doctor.</div>

While the Obama administration has come out against SOPA,  effectively  shelving it indefinitely, the very similar PIPA bill is  still alive and  well. Both SOPA and PIPA put power in the hands of the  entertainment  industry to censor sites that allegedly "engage in, enable  or  facilitate" copyright infringement. This language is vague enough to   target sites you use every day, like Facebook and Google, making these   bills a serious problem. Here's what you need to know about the bills   and what you can do about them. <br />
<h3>What Are SOPA and PIPA All ABout, and Why Should I Care?</h3>The  idea behind these bills sounds reasonable. They came about in  order to  try and snuff out piracy online, as the entertainment industry  is  obviously not excited that many people are downloading their products   without payment or permission. The issue is, however, that it doesn't   really matter whether you're in support of piracy, against it, or just   don't care. The methods are ineffective. Here's what they are and why   they're problematic.<br />
SOPA  and PIPA were initially designed to do two things. The first was  to  make it possible for companies to block the domain names of web  sites  that are simply capable of, or seem to encourage copyright  infringement.  This would have been bad for <i>everyone</i> because such  a measure  doesn't actually prevent piracy. The reason that blocking a  domain name  isn't effective is because any blocked site can still be  accessed via  its numeric IP address. For example, if lifehacker.com  were blocked, you  could still find it by visiting a number-based  address. In fact, before  the bills were even supposed to come to a  vote, tools were created to automatically route domain names to their IP  addresses  to completely render this measure of SOPA and PIPA useless.  As a  result, the IP-blocking provisions have been removed from both  bills.<br />
The other, still-active measure present in the SOPA and PIPA bills   would allow rights holders to cut of the source of funding of any   potentially infringing web site. This means any other companies doing   business with this site would have to stop. Whether that means   advertising, links in search engines, or any other listings would have   to be removed.<br />
There is, however, an important difference between SOPA and PIPA.  SOPA  targeted any site that contributed to copyright infringement, even  if  it was simply facilitating the act by providing a tool that could be   used for illegal purposes (regardless of intention). PIPA, on the other   hand, requires the targeted site to have no significant use beyond   copyright infringement. Basically, PIPA can only be used to censor a   site if it's more likely to be a source of illegal content than not.   This is still problematic because a tool designed to accept   user-generated content is, to some extent, at the whims of its users. If   infringing content is found, rights holders already have the Digital  Millenium Copyright Act  (DMCA) to help them request the legal removal  of that content. They  also have the ability to sue infringers for  damages, as we've previously  seen with the Recording Industry  Association of America (RIAA) when  they, for example, sued a  12-year-old for downloading music.  SOPA and PIPA provide a means to  censor the tool that provided a means  for the infringing content to  exist on the internet rather than the  content itself. This puts a lot  of power in the hands of rights holders  and has significant potential  for abuse.<br />
This is, of course, our interpretation of these bills. Because we  love  the internet and oppose censorship, we have an obvious bias. While  we  believe the right thing to do is to oppose these bills, you should  make  an informed decision on your own. <h3>What Can I Do About SOPA and PIPA?</h3><div class="lyteboxContainer right editorial" style="height: 207px; width: 300px;"><img height="207" src="http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/17/2012/01/medium_a4085e07d9f721a1233cb1c69f0be011.jpg" width="300" /></div>Currently   Twitter, Google, Reddit, Kickstarter, Tumblr, Mozilla, Yahoo, AOL,   eBay, Zynga, Facebook, and several other sites have spoken out in   opposition of SOPA and PIPA. In fact, many sites are censoring their   logos (e.g. Google) or completely taking down their sites (e.g.   Wikipedia) in protest on January 18th, 2012. There is incredible   opposition to these bills because they don't just affect users like you,   or small startups, but even very large companies with a large stake in   the great things the internet and modern technology have to offer. If   you'd like to join in your protest, there are a few things you can do.  First, <b>call your congressperson</b>  on the phone. This is especially  important if you live in a state with  SOPA and/or PIPA supports or  sponsors. Nonetheless, if your  congresspeople do <i>not</i> support these bills you should still contact them to voice your support for their position.<br />
Second, get the word out. Post this article, the American Censorship Day  web site,  or any other information about SOPA/PIPA on your social  media accounts.  Send emails to friends and family. If you oppose the  bill, help others  to understand why you believe they should oppose and  encourage them to  read more so they can make an informed choice.<br />
<h4>Let's End the Fight and Start a Discussion</h4>Finally, if you know a  supporter or person in favor of SOPA and/or  PIPA, have an open  discussion. Myself and many others believe that the  root of this  problem stems from a lack of communication on both sides.  Despite what  my articles may suggest, I'm not a supporter of piracy. I  do believe  there is a compromise that both sides can reach with enough  discussion,  education, and understanding. It's important to remember  that both the  supporters and opposers of SOPA and PIPA have legitimate  concerns.  This should not be a fight but rather a cooperative discussion  to find a  solution. Whichever side you're on, please encourage a  conversation  that will move us towards change that is good for everyone  rather than  extreme measures that won't help anyone.</div></div>

The well-turned out and synchronised military and police formations led  by General Officer Commanding (Delhi) Lt Gen V K Pillai marched proudly  to the lilting tunes of bands through the Rajpath where  President Pratibha Patil, who is the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces,  took salute.<br />
<br />
The impressive march-past was watched by chief guest Thai Prime Minister  Yingluck Shinawatra, Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime  Minister Manmohan Singh, defence minister A K Antony, UPA  chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Marshal of Air Force Arjan Singh and top  political and military brass.<br />
<br />
Police and other para-military forces turned Delhi into a a virtual  fortress for the Republic Day celebrations as helicpoters scanned from  air, snipers kept a hawk-eye vigil from rooftops and armed personnel at  every nook and corner provided a ground-to-air security apparatus.<br />

Minutes before the parade began, Singh, Antony and chiefs of Army, Navy  and Air Force laid wreaths at 'Amar Jawan Jyoti', an eternal flame in  the memory of those who laid down their lives while defending the  nation.<br />
<br />
After the customary 21-gun salute and unfurling of the  national tricolour, President Patil presented Ashok Chakra -- the  highest peacetime gallantry award -- posthumously to Lieutenant Navdeep  Singh who died foiling an infiltration attempt by Pakistan-based  terrorists along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.</div></div>
