<b>Story:</b><br />
<br />
This is the film about three friends and their different love stories.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">1st one:</span> Anand (Ajay) is a brilliant student but is confused about decision making. He takes one year off from his studies to decide about his next step. He falls in love with Archana (Yami), who is a neighbor of his. She is a great admirer of cricketer Vishnu and when Anand decides to express his love to Archana, he comes to know that she is in love with Vishnu.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">2nd one: </span>Raju (Prasad) is a violinist and comes to Hyderabad to pursue his career in film industry. He accidentally bumps into Rani (Ramya) whom he hates to the core. He feels that she brings bad luck to him. In one unavoidable situation they get married.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: blue;">3rd one: </span>Mahesh (Havish) dreams to become a famous male model. He breaks up with Madhavi (Sarayu) and she tries to teach him a lesson by pitching a gay Shailu (Haleem) against him. Mahesh’s life turns into a terrible mishap after that.<br />
<br />
How all these stories end up is what this film is about.<br />
<br />
<b>Analysis:</b><br />
<br />
Ravibabu is clear about the target audience for this film and he never tried to get away from that. He introduced the characters in a simple yet funny way and started to unfold their crazy/stupid love stories in an entertaining manner. Apart from stupidity there is also some sincerity in this comedy film and that angle is dealt well in the form of Ajay-Archana love story.<br />
<br />
Despite being thoroughly entertaining the film does irritate a bit due to repetitive scenes and an overdose of adult (read gay) comedy. However, there are some truly hilarious scenes which will make you laugh like hell. First half is breezy and second half lags a bit in the middle. Climax is over the top but funny.<br />
<br />
Nuvvila is a youthful film which will appeal to the target audience and enjoyed by the people who love to watch mindless comedies.<br />
<br />
<b>Performances:</b><br />
<br />
Ravibabu’s biggest success in this film is getting the star cast right. Barring Radha Kumari and a couple of known faces, all others are newcomers and they did well to make the characters believable.<br />
<br />
Prasad is a riot. He spells ‘sa’ as ‘la’ and all those scenes highlighting that weakness are good. Ramya complimented him well with a decent performance.<br />
<br />
Havish is natural. His expressions and comedy timing are too good. Ajay is good but could’ve done better. His outburst in the climax scene didn’t come out as expected. On a whole he isn’t that bad.<br />
<br />
Yami is beautiful and really angelic like the director portrayed her in the introduction scene. She is a very good actress too. Ravibabu is perfect. Rest of the cast did their best to keep up the spirit of the movie.<br />
<br />
<b>Technicalities:</b><br />
<br />
Although Nuvvila was made on a shoestring budget, there isn’t any lack of quality. Cinematographer, art department did a very good job. Editing is neat. Music is fine. Songs are interlaced in the narrative and are good on ears too. Shekar Chandra’s background score is also good.<br />
<br />
Ravibabu came up with another decent youthful comedy and proves that he is the best in business to pull off a film with completely unknown faces. His sense of humor is the USP of this film. Saying so, he should have toned down the A rated comedy a bit to make it appealing to all the classes.<br />

<b>Story:</b><br />

Ram Prasad alias Bujji (<span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/2119/tollywood/Gopichand-actors-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Gopi Chand</a></span>) is the son of Anjaneya Prasad (<span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/9476/tollywood/RajendraPrasad-actors-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Rajendra Prasad</a></span>), a rich man and social activist. Prasad wants his son Bujji to get married and settle in life. After few failed attempts to find a bride, Bujji falls in love with RajaRajeshwari alias Raji (<span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/5881/tollywood/Taapsee-Actress-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Taapsee</a></span>) in first look. Raji is the daughter of Chamundeswari, a powerful political leader (<span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/5905/tollywood/Roja-Actress-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Roja</a></span>). Both the families are happy for the couple and they get married in a grand manner. Small issue rises when they are about to send Raji with Bujji. That turns into an ugly brawl and the couple gets separated then and there. What happens next is the rest of the story.<br />
<br />
<b>Analysis:</b><br />
<br />
Krishna Vamsi did well in building up the story. There are few ‘overtone’ scenes which seemed bad in taste, but on a whole the flow is neat until interval point. During the mid break, the film changes color and Krishna Vamsi brought that on to the screen in a convincing manner. He has brilliantly shown how small ego clashes lead to big fights in marriages.<br />
<br />
The overall feel at the interval time will be positive and raises hopes over the next hour. But Krishna Vamsi found it tough to change the mood of the film all of a sudden. He faltered a bit and the confusions in the characters and their behavior is clearly visible. The movie changes track when it lands in Mauritius. Despite being funny at times, the whole situation looks forced and unconvincing.<br />
<br />
The last act in the film was dealt pretty badly. Although that is the only conclusion, he could give to this story, Krishna Vamsi pumped in too much drama and the characters behave in a weird fashion that they get on audience nerves. <span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/24206/tollywood/Mogudu-Movie-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Mogudu</a></span> is sheer disappointment on a whole. Despite preaching family values it won’t appeal to family audiences too.<br />
<br />
<b>Performances:</b><br />
<br />
<span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/2119/tollywood/Gopichand-actors-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Gopi Chand</a></span> is good in his elements. His character is different from his regular roles. His mass fans will be disappointed to see him an in a very soft role. <span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/5881/tollywood/Taapsee-Actress-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Taapsee</a></span> tried to prove herself as a good actress and it is certainly her best portrayal till date. However, dubbing on her own without knowing the language isn’t a good ploy. At times she hammed a bit and failed to give right expressions in few scenes. She sizzled on the glamour front.<br />
<br />
<span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/1163/tollywood/Shraddha-Das-Actress-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Shradha Das</a></span> added the necessary spice. She is okay in her role. <span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/9476/tollywood/RajendraPrasad-actors-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Rajendra Prasad</a></span> is good when his character is soft and humble. But his characterization is unconvincing in the second half where it behaves very odd and immature. <span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/5905/tollywood/Roja-Actress-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Roja</a></span> is good and this character is tailor made for her. Naresh is fine. Venu Madhav is average. All others did well within their limitations.<br />
<br />
<b>Technicalities:</b><br />
<br />
Babu Shankar’s music is an asset. Almost all the songs are good. Background score is perfect. Sirivennela’s lyrics deserve applause. Cinematography is good and editing is alright. Production values are good.<br />
<br />
Krishna Vamsi is neither completely out of touch nor on top. There are flashes of brilliance in certain scenes. ‘Over the top’ drama has been doing harm to his works in the recent times and yet again he couldn’t get over that weakness in <span class="keyword"><a href="http://www.supergoodmovies.com/24206/tollywood/Mogudu-Movie-Gallery" style="text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Mogudu</a></span>. His writing and handling in the second half is pretty poor.<br />
<br />

<strong></strong>A stale tale, the story begins with Bujji (gopichand), the son of a well respected and influential farmer Anjaneya Prasad (rajendra prasad) who has a lovable joint family. Bujji is the darling of all and as expected, they want him to get married. After having few hiccups, Bujji comes across Rajeshwari (taapsee) and falls in love with her. Rajeshwari is the daughter of politician Chamundeshwari (roja). Both sides agree for the marriage but on the day the marriage takes place, an incident causes a break up between both families. Both Bujji and Rajeshwari go for a divorce. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.</span></b></div></td></tr>

<strong></strong>The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was bad. The dialogues were poor. The script was written weakly and the screenplay was not upto the mark. Background score was good and only two songs were foot tapping. Cinematography was appealing. Locations were good for songs. Editing was matured but it was required during the second half. Costumes were natural and stylish while the art department was rich. Gopichand has come up with a subdued performance and he is part of the film not leading it. Rajendra Prasad was wonderful. Taapsee was good, she will score. Shraddha Das was sexy and did her bit as required. Naresh was natural. Roja was better and contained. Venu Madhav was not that appealing. The others like Pragathi, Harshavardhan, Raghava, Gitanjali etc contributed as expected.</span></b></div></td></tr>

While the first half was alright and manageable, the second half was bad, it began to get worse as it progressed. The technical values are good but the idea was lacking enough depth to be conveyed rightly. Overall, this is a film which might have good openings but it will fizzle out in no time at the box office.<br />

Anand (ajay) grows with confusion in life and so he decides to take one year break after degree. Mahesh (havish) wants to become a top model. Fidel Raja (prasad) wants to be a famous violinist. The three of them take up job in a pizza joint and in no time they become thick friends. Their lives take a turn when Anand falls in love with Archana (yami), Mahesh is chased by a gay (haleem) after his fight with Madhavi (sarayu) and Raja is forcibly married to his big enemy Rani (remya). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.</span></b></div></td></tr>
