<span style="font-weight: bold;">There seems to be a cold war between Gemini Film Circuit and Geetha Arts regarding the remake rights of Hindi Blockbuster "3 Idiots". Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the producer of 3 Idiots is keen on making the film in telugu in partnership with Geetha Arts...but Gemini Film Circuit went ahead and quoted 10 Crores for the remake rights. With this Geetha Arts got in to soup and are forced to move back as they feel that buying a story for 10 crores would not make any business sense. Analysts in the Industry say that paying such huge amounts for remake rights is going to further push the industry into slump.</span>

Prince Mahesh's film set in chennai

<span style="font-weight: bold;">T-agitation still seems to continue showing its effect on Telugu Cinema. No doubt that the industry is severely affected by the ongoing agitation. Consequently, filmmakers are now making careful moves to avoid further losses from T- activists.<br /><br />In this context, Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film set has now moved to Chennai. It is already known that Mahesh’s film set built in Vikarabad was completely destroyed by T-activists. Filmmakers have incurred a heavy loss of about 1 crore in the incident. They now seem to take no more chance and hence shifted the location to Chennai. They are now engaged in building up a set. Once that is done, shooting will resume.From over two years Mahesh’s fans are desperate for his film. They are already in a state of disappointment and the recent interruption caused by the T-activists has added a lot to it. They now need to wait for some more time for their favourite star’s film.</span>

His biggest asset is that he is the son-in-law of the Megastar.<br /><br />Sirish, who married Chiru's daughter Srija two years back, will continue to be a member of the Board for a period of one year. The dude's appointment has been announced by some government officials themselves.<br /><br />Mr. Bharadwaj said that he was happy with his appointment. It is said that his appointment was first mooted and finalised by big shots in the State government.<br /><br />The youngster, who hogged the limelight when he dramatically eloped with Srija on a December 2008 afternoon, went into hibernation later. <span style="font-weight: bold;">The next Aamir Khan film 'Peepli Live' starring Raghuvir Yadav, is for adults only. We hear the perfectionist star was given the option of making a few cuts and getting a 'U' rating for the film but Aamir was cool with the 'adults only' tag and refused any and all cuts.Aamir is going to take a little long break after this movie gets completed..<br /><br />The movie, sadly, doesn’t star Aamir and has Raghuvir Yadav, playing a distraught farmer who announces his suicide in advance. Nawaz, a reporter who hears about the case wants to break the news. The news catches the attention of politicians and news channels who want to get mileage out of the situation.After deliberation, farmer decides not to kill himself but Nawaz ends up killing himself.Since the film is set in a village, it has ample rustic vernacular that at times borders on fowl language. The Censor Board obviously wasn’t pleased with the dialogues and gave Aamir the option of deleting these scenes to get a ‘U’ (Universal Viewing) certificate.According to a source, the film is the official entry to the Sundance Film Festival, and Aamir didn't want the Censor Board to tamper with the material.<br /><br />"Peepli Live has made an entry in the World Cinema Narrative category. It's the first Indian film to go to the festival, and making cuts for the Indian audience wouldn't have been fair, " he adds.</span>

Pawan okayed V V Vinayak's Film

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Power Star Pawan Kalyan seems to have given a final nod for VV Vinayak's film. Yes, after his film with NTR, Vinayak is all set to make a film with Allu Arjun and then with Pawan. The film is expected to go on floors much later in this year.<br /><br />Much delay in the release of Komaram Puli, after the release of Jalsa in February 2008, seems to have made Pawan take up more films in the coming months. After the news about his reported nod to do a film for a scriptwriter and another one with Kick's story-writer, came the news about Vinayak's film.<br /><br />However, of all the three, only Vinayak's film seems to have got a go-ahead from Pawan. Though nothing can be confirmed as yet, especially because there has been no confirmation from the actor's close aides or the makers, it seems that the project with Vinayak is for real.<br /><br />Also, Pawan's starring in 3Idiot's remake version has not been made official too. </span>

In the recently releaed movies Adhurs and Namo Venkatesa, he plays lengthy roles and when he was introduced, the audience greeted him with loud cheers.<br /><br />The star comedian is one of the most important assets for both these movies. There is no other comedian in the country who is a significant crowd-puller, be it in superstar or small ticket films. The Andhra audience have patronised this comedian for more than two decades now and in his late 40s, Brahmi's star comedian status is only increasing year after year.<br /><br />Films like Manmathudu and Venky helped him re-invent himself a few years back. Even after repeating the same expressions, he hasn't bored us after many years.<br /><br />No wonder that the highest paid South Indian comedian is a mini-hero in himself.
