Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who participated in the function, said, "I met Viswanath once at the airport. This was soon after the release of Sagara Sangamam. We discussed a number of things. Viswanath then asked me to work under his direction and I readily agreed. But I couldn't accommodate the dates as I had already agreed to do a few films. That's how I missed a chance of working with him. I am sure he would have presented me in a new light. I'm waiting for a chance to work with him."</b>

<b>The muhurat of Shresth Media Pvt. Ltd.'s <a href="">Ishq</a> was held on December 16th at the office of the production house. Nitin faced the camera for the muhurat shot, for which noted distributor Rammohana Rao sounded the clap. Exhibitor Sadananda Goud switched on the camera and JD Chakravarthy directed the muhurat shot. Vikram Kumar directs the film for producer M. Vikram Goud. Multi-dimension Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. is the presenter.<br /> <br /> Vikram Kumar says, "As the title suggests, the film is a love story. But it is fresh and unclichéd. Nitin's characterisation will appeal to the young crowd instantly. We introduce a new heroine in the film.
