The world may perceive it in several different ways but in India the
word politics is considered to be the dirtiest and most harmful to the
society and the nation. This is no exaggeration because it is not the
subject of politics but the men who join politics bringing bad name to
it.
In this aspect, the politics is also playing a key role in making the
prestigious Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) a mere puppet. It is
an open secret that any party that is in power has been using CBI to
take it hard on the opponents and give them a hard time. For that
matter, even the current position of Jagan and his fight against the CBI
allegations is considered a part of that.
Recently when the FDI issue was happening at centre two major parties
from UP suddenly backed off and enabled the bill to be passed. It is
heard that this was part of a secret understanding that the CBI cases
against the opposition party members would be dropped if they don’t vote
against it. This sort of approach is surely damaging an elite wing of
our society.
