And GK tries to evacuate the people in Paali (through a superstition) so that he can acquire Iridium land. Cut across, Seetharama Raju (Mahesh Babu) is a cab driver. The plot unveils as how this nowhere related Seetharama Raju saves the lives of the 534 people in Paali 
 
Analysis: 
 
Writer turned Director Trivikram Srinivas is known for his candy floss and humor quotient, but he unveils a different fairy-tale in the form of an action entertainer Kaleja. It’s Mahesh Babu all the way in Khaleja, which turns out to be an average film. 
 
Mahesh Babu’s characterization is being shown in a completely different dimension. Trivikram once again comes up with an attractive script that aptly suits Mahesh Babu. In fact, Mahesh Babu has not done such a unique character thus far in his career. Mahesh Babu shoulders the responsibility and carries the feel of his character very well in this narration. 
 
While the conflict point and plot were reasonably strong, the screenplay and pace in which the story took off was not as expected. However, since the lead protagonist being Mahesh Babu, the strength in the conflict point was not badly affected who carried well. Mahesh Babu’s action sequences were well made and he does with Bachchan-like naturalness. 
 
Having said all these, Mahesh Kaleja is certainly not a film that should be made with a whopping budget of 40 crores and short in 3 years. Trivikram once again carries the same humor dimensions with Sunil, Ali and Brahmanandam. However, all the giddiness in the plot does not dilute the big bang. 
 
Trivikram Srinivas manages to sustain the subtlety element in the first half, which is exciting and humors (Like he earlier did in Nuvve Nuvve and Athadu). But the second half could not accommodate the same pace. There should have edited the second half, which would have increased the tempo. Amidst huge ticket-stub flinging and loud cheers, Mahesh Kaleja manages to create a decent persona to watch. 
 
Performances: 
 
Mahesh Babu is very handsome and elegant. His stylish looks and trendy costumes once again make him a teen heartthrob. True to his image of Prince Charming, Mahesh Babu mesmerizes with this on-screen presence. His action episodes are great and his body language is very energetic. 
 
Anushka, as a demure damsel, is attractive. Her essential impishness fits the role to the T (tee). However, she needs to improve her expressions in emotional scenes. 
 
Rao Ramesh does well as a foreteller – almost the same character like he did in Magadheera. Shafi also did well as Rao Ramesh’s disciple. 
 
Prakash Raj and Thannikela Bharani are adequate. 
 
Technicalities: 
 
Yash Bhatt has done a phenomenal job - The camera angles tight close shots, lighting effects and camera movements. His cinematography is on top, gritty and classy. 
 
Mani Sharma’s music was not great except for two songs - particularly the Om Namo Siva Rudraya song is absolutely brilliant. But re-recording in action episodes is good. The action sequences of Peter Heins are spell-binding. 
 
Editor Sreekar Prasad perhaps could have done a better job in the second half where the actual plot would be unveiled. It’s a tough call nevertheless for him. 
 
Final Word: 
 
All things considered, Mahesh Kaleja turns out to be an average movie. With gigantic expectations and surge in the fan base, Mahesh Khaleja comes with huge expectations, but the screenplay and the pace, coupled with an unnecessary song in the second half makes it a typical movie. But boy, watch out for Mahesh Babu’s characterization.</div>

Story: 
 
Vasikar (Rajinikanth) is a scientist who does research in Robotics and Sana (Aishwarya Rai) . He introduces a Robot (Chitti) and aspires to present it to Indian Defence to bolster their resistance mechanism. Chitti does all the unbelievable activities and rescues operations as well. However, Vasikar Professor Bohra (Danny) denies permission to send this to Defence on the grounds that Chitti is purely a Robot and kills anybody. Just when Vasikar is about to destroy, Chitti says that he loves Sana. Contrastingly the envious Bohra develops a killer Robot for terrorist activities. The plot unveils as to how Vasikar destroys the killer robot and wins SANA. 
 
Analysis: 
Robo is a science fiction movie and director Shankar does justice to the title. Stamping his authority on compute graphics, Shankar once again proved why he’s an ace filmmaker. The cost of the budget was clearly evident in songs and action episodes as Shankar truly depicts a passionate Robo story. 
 
Robo review was the much awaited one, and we have to say that the movie’s technical competencies are on par with Hollywood. Against his conventional style of film making, Shankar has gone for the robot technology, but caught in a spot of bother in terms of story and screenplay. The story lacks the required fizz and intensity, and also did not end convincingly.  Interestingly, in Robo, Rajnikanth also plays a negative shade in the form of killer robot. 
 
From Rajinikanth’s viewpoint, he donned a different character as against her earlier movies, which has complete commercial dialogues as Robo movie runs entirely on Rajinikanth.  Amidst these fantastical, futuristic images, Shankar keeps the flavour severely home- grown. But in the end, Robo is only technically brilliant – unrivalled and unsurpassed. 
 
It’s not a great story and with twists and turns, but you can surely enjoy the roller coaster ride. The first half of Robo is exciting with high voltage graphics and entertainment. But the second half loses its firmness and rather becomes unconvincing towards the end. 
 
Performances: 
 
Superstar Rajinikanth delivers breath taking performance. However, don’t expect typical Rajnikanth dialogues in this film. As it goes, Rajni gets better with age. 
 
Aishwarya Rai is aptly suited for her role and does well. Shankar captured her stunning visuals and looks in few tight close shots. 
Danny is adequate. 
 
Technicalities: 
 
Music by AR Rahman is very good and the background score in action episodes is very thrilling. Couples of numbers are very well composed. 
 
Computer graphics hogs limelight for Robo more than anything else. The CG work is world class and visuals are stunning. Rathnavelu, the cameraman does a fantastic job when it comes to close shots. 
 
All in all, Robo is a technically proficient movie and its worth watching such a brilliantly made film. It’s the first of its kind movie in India for sure. Go watch for sheer computer life likes and ascribe to ace director Shankar.</div>

In the wake of murder of Telugu Desam Party leader Chalasani Pandu, rowdy factionism has become hot topic in Andhra Pradesh again. So, Ram Gopal Varma announces that he would make a new film on this topic set against the backdrop of Vijayawada and its rowdy politics. Titled Bejawada Rowdilu, this new film would be his next movie in Telugu as soon as he finishes his comedy movie Appalraju with Sunil. In fact, the idea for RGV’s maiden film, Shiva, came from rowdy politics in the Vijayawada city but he made the movie in the backdrop of Hyderabad for wider reach. Now he focuses on the city where he did Engineering course. Cast and other crew will be announced shortly.

The incident occurred last night when the guards of the jewellery store, all Nepali nationals, barged into the jewellery shop and attacked one of the staff while the shop was being closed, they said. 
The guards collected gold ornaments, diamonds and cash from the shop before fleeing from the scene, a police officer supervising the investigations said adding, "They (the accused) also damaged the CCTV cameras inside the shop." 
The jewellery shop owner in his complaint has said that the stolen property was worth Rs 15 lakh, the police officer said. 
Hyderabad City Police Commissioner A K Khan, who visited the shop has announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for passing on information that would help the police arrest the accused.

Hyderabad, Sep 15 : Inviting industries to invest, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has assured full support to entrepreneurs and business holdings looking to set up base in the region. 
Speaking at a seminar hosted by the <a href="http://www.andhranews.net/Features/Organizations/Federation-of-Indian-Chambers-of-Commerce-and-Industry.asp">Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry</a> (FICCI) here, Rosaiah said that Andhra Pradesh was 'safe' for investment, and that there was no need for industries to fear any eventualities since the government was there to help them. 
"Andhra Pradesh have safe places for investments. You need not entertain any sort of doubts...The government is always prepared to extend its logistical support for the industry. We stand by the industries. We support the industries," he added. 
Allaying fears of business establishments, Rosaiah maintained that he was unbiased in his outlook and bore no ill-will towards any region. 
"The government of India will take its decisions in the larger interests of the country. As a Chief Minister, I have no regional feelings to a particular region, or favour for any one region," he asserted. 
Parts of Andhra Pradesh have been hit intermittently in the past several months by violence and shutdowns called by supporters of a separate Telangana state, affecting industry and causing civic and business losses worth billions.

Washington, Oct 9 : A new study has been undertaken to find out how healthful natural compounds known as Omega 3 fatty acids, which are found in fishes like salmon and albacore, help us protect against chronic diseases. 
The ongoing study is conducted by U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) chemist Darshan S. Kelley and co-investigators are helping uncover new details about how these fish-oil components help protect us from chronic diseases. 
In an early study with laboratory mice, Kelley and colleagues investigated the interplay of two omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil-DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)-and a third fatty acid, CLA (as trans-10, cis-12 CLA) found in some dietary supplements. 
Kelley's 8-week test with 50 laboratory mice indicated that DHA protected the animals against two harmful side effects of CLA: LA-induced insulin resistance and CLA-induced non-alcoholic fatty-liver disease. 
In contrast, EPA offered only partial protection against CLA-induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and provided no protection against insulin resistance. 
If untreated, insulin resistance can lead to diabetes. An estimated 36 million to 57 million Americans are insulin-resistant. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease can result in cirrhosis of the liver or liver cancer. The study appeared in a 2007 issue of Metabolic Syndrome and Related Disorders. 
Their review underscores the need for new investigations, with larger numbers of volunteers. 
Such research might reveal more about the mechanisms of action that DHA and EPA use, the sites upon which they act in the human body, and the genes that control these mechanisms.

Industrialist and two-time Member of Parliament from Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal welcomed the proposed 'Civil Disobedience' movement by TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao. Rajagopal said that he would welcome any action from the TRS chief as long as they were legal, democratic and non-violent. In a press conference held in his Vijayawada constituency, Rajagopal felt that any feelings that are 'Gandhian' in nature should be loved and welcomed. 
Lagadapati also recalled his old days and said that there is a lot of change in his own attitude since his college days. As a member of Congress, he always believed in non-violence. Rajagopal also praised Chief Minister K Rosaiah a true Gandhian for issuing a GO making it mandatory for officials and others to celebrate October 2nd as 'International Non-Violence Day'. 
Referring to the recent Ayodhya title suit verdict by the Allahabad high court, he said that we have to congratulate ourselves for making such a peaceful atmosphere after the delivery of the verdict.

In it's second meeting on Monday, the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam management has decided to provide a single window facility for the pilgrims. Speaking to the media on the outcome of the meeting, Chairman of the Specified Authority, J Satyanarayana said that the modalities to extend all facilities like darshan, accomodation, tonsuring to the devotees are being worked out. Sree Seva counters atop of the hill will be set up. Train and Bus ticket reservation will also be provided at the Sree Seva centres.</div><div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Executive Officer IYR Krishna Rao said that the TTD has placed orders for over 4 lakh diaries and 10 lakh calendars to avoid any shortage this year. Issuance of Vastralankara and Abhishekam tickets will also be limited to 35 per week.</div>

A non-bailable warrant has been issued against the Sub Inspector Y Ranganath Goud by the Ponnur Sessions Court Monday. The SI has been charged with cheating a minor girl belonging to Ponnur in August this year. The Judge issued the non-bailable warrant since Goud did not appear before the judge for hearing for seven consecutive times. 
Several women organizations staged protest against Ranganath Goud for allegedly outraging the modesty of the minor girl. The then Superintedent of Police, SB Bagchi ordered a case to be filed gainst Ranganath Goud under Sections 276 and 402.

We have started the regular shooting of our Parameshwara Arts banner as Production No 1. This is going to be a full fledged entertainer after ‘Khushi’ from Pawan Kalyan. The movie will have all the elements that the audience expects from Pawan. The shooting that began today will continue at Ramoji Film City till October 3rd and then shift to Varanasi, Darjling and Patiala to shoot the major part from October 7th till the month end, followed by the November schedule in foreign locales and then complete the entire shooting part by December end. Trivikram wrote excellent screenplay and dialogues for the film. Hence I thank him on behalf of our unit members. Pawan is playing a dual role and Trisha is pairing with him for the first time. This is going to be a feel good entertainer in Pawan-Jayanth combination. 
 
The Parameshwara Arts’ Production No 1 has screenplay and dialogues by Trivikram, music by Mani Sharma, cinematography by Jainan Vincent, art by Narayana Reddy and Stills by Raja. Siva Babu is the co-producer.

<div style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Golden Line Films and God Father Films are together producing the film titled ‘Ranga The Donga’ starring Srikanth, Vimala Raman and Ramya Krishna. The movie is directed by GV Sudhakar Naidu. GV is also a producer of the film along with CR Manohar. A press meet was held today at Film Nagar Cultural Center to announce the release date of the film. The press meet was attended by GV Sudhakar Naidu, Srikanth, Gautham Raju, CR Manohar, Chakri and Shivaji Raja. 
 
Srikanth stars in this film as a thief Ranga, whose style of ‘stealing’ is unique. Vimala Raman plays a character affected by Srikanth, even though she is a cop appointed to catch him. On the whole, director Sudhakar Naidu believes that this film will be a laugh riot. 
 
The music for this film has been rendered by Chakri. This will be another time Chakri will be doing a film for Srikanth, after Vamsi directed ‘Dongamogudu and Party’. Coincidentally Srikanth played the role of a thief even in that film. 
 
Srikanth said, “After ‘Mahatma’, when producer Manohar approached me with this story, I instantly agreed to do the film. I’m doing two variety roles in this film. GV crafted the film more perfectly than what he had narrated. His taking is excellent. Chakri music is also excellent, especially the song ‘Vetade Simhamlaa…’. </div>
