The
 movie starts off with Nandu (Jr.NTR) being portrayed as a student 
 who is a very light hearted and a care free person by nature. When 
he happens to see Akarsha (Samantha) on a rainy day, he falls head 
 over heels for her and keeps trying to woo her before she finally 
falls for him. Samantha and Jr.NTR then go to Coorg for her sister’s
 engagement. There an attempt to murder Samantha’s father (Mukesh 
 Rushi) fails.. And here comes the twist as Nandu instead of 
protecting Samantha’s father, kills him. It turns out that NTR is not
 who Samantha thought he was and comes here for an entirely 
different reason. The rest of the story will have us discovering 
Nandu’s shady past, of which Shruti Hassan is a crucial part.

This one man show concept is where the film falters a bit too, 
especially in the second half. The predictable narrative with sudden 
 change in gears doesn’t look cohesive and drags as a result. Add to it
 some over violence, one almost reaches a messy stage mid way in 
second half. In the end the director tries to camouflage all that 
with twist but that doesn’t work as well as he has intended. Second 
 half of movies have been a problem in all Harish Shankar movies so 
 far, this one too doesn’t seem to be any different.

Rs.60 crores and Rs.70 crores. In that case, the movie must score an

It was 15th June, 1995. Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Bigboss' and Collection King Mohan Babu's 'pedarayudu'
 were released on this day. Amidst a big hype and hoopla, Chiranjeevi's 
'Bigboss' was released in maximum number of centers. However, the movie 
generated utter flop talk on its release day. On the other hand, Mohan 
Babu's 'pedarayudu'
 was released silently with no big expectations among the audiences. But
 there was a big sensation as the movie generated blockbuster talk at 
the end of its morning shows. Mohan Babu's terrific performance as 'pedarayudu',
 gripping story and screen play, nice tunes by Koti made the movie a 
great hit. However, Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth's exclusive stylish 
performance in the guest role made the movie to get the status of 
'Industry Hit'.</div>

Meanwhile, 'pedarayudu'
 collected a share of Rs.12 crores at the end of its full run world 
wide. Previous industry hit movie Chiranjeevi's 'Gharanamogudu'(1992) 
collected  a share of Rs.10 crores. 'pedarayudu' ran 100 days in 40 direct centers across the state beating 'Gharanamogudu's 39 direct centers 100 days record.</div>

 had Bhanupriya and Soundarya as female leads. Raviraja Pinisetty 
directed this movie. Mohan Babu, himself, produced this movie on Lakshmi
