To ensure prompt delivery of transport documents through speed post, the transport officials have said that pin codes and full addresses of the applicants will be made compulsory for all transactions from October 18.
In the recent times, applicants waiting for their learning license, driving license, registration of motor vehicles etc. have expressed anger at the time being taken for the documents to reach them via speed post.

One of applicant, Mr Prashant Reddy, said, “I had applied for my new motorbike registration a month ago, but till now I haven’t received the documents.”
An RTA official explained that often applicants don’t write their detailed residential address, which increases the delay. A top official said, “To avoid delay through speed post, filling in pin codes and full detailed address will be made compulsory for all transactions from October 18.”
