Generally, film stars mention the name of either a Bollywood star or a Tollywood star, when asked about their favorite people. But, the doe eyed beauty Vimala Raman candidly says that she likes Swami Vivekananda. She says, "I idolize Swami Vivekananda. I can spend hours reading books about Vivekananda. I usually give away books of Swamy Vivekananda as gifts. The books contain the facts to be learnt about life."
When asked about her objective in life, Vimala Raman says, "During my childhood, my ambition was to charm the audience as a great Bharatanatyam dancer. Now, my goal has changed and I just want to hear people say Vimala Raman is the best actress and will keep working towards that."
