Lyricist Sai Sri Harsha Is No More

Renowned lyricist Sai Sri Harsha died at his residence in Sri Nagar Colony on Thursday. He was 49. Sai Sri Harsha was reportedly unwell for the past few months. He has penned around 500 songs. Sentimental songs were his forte and some of his famous songs were Kadile Kalama (Pedarayudu) and Konda Kona Palaina Seetamma (Soggadi Pellam). His song from the film Avunu Valliddaru Istapaddaru (Vennello Hai Hai) was a big hit. Sai Sri Harsha learned the art of lyric writing from his father, who penned a number of devotional songs on Jillellamudi Amma.
