TRS’s new pressure on TDP At one point K Chandrasekhar Rao was an integral part of the Telugu Desam Party but he reportedly expressed dissent because he was not given ministerial berth during TDP regime. Luckily for him, KCR chose the Telangana concept, created the TRS party and due to this, he became the arch rival for Telugu Desam Party.  Now, it is heard that a new pressure is being planned by the KCR on TDP. This is regarding the Telangana issue. Apparently, it is heard that the TRS is trying hard to get TDP to commit to the Telangana cause. Though TDP has made it clear it is not against Telangana that is not satisfying the TRS.  They are insisting that instead of saying they are not against, the TDP should say they are for a separate Telangana. TDP is in a tight spot due to this sensitive issue and they are doing their best to gather strength in Telangana but if they go by what TRS wants then they are sure to lose in the non-Telangana areas and that’s why KCR and his team is taking advantage of that.
