The reason in because of the YSR's statue.
The villagers in this village built the statue of YSR with the money they earned from Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme! All all the villagers who helped build the statue are extremely poor people.
So moved by YS Jagan with this that he said that he would soon announce some projects for this village and promised them that he would come to this village again.
One villager was heard saying that it was the late YSR who started the rural employment scheme and it is only because of this scheme that they are eating food in their villages since they have been affected by drought for many years.
