Sub-Inspector charged with cheating a minor girl
A non-bailable warrant has been issued against the Sub Inspector Y Ranganath Goud by the Ponnur Sessions Court Monday. The SI has been charged with cheating a minor girl belonging to Ponnur in August this year. The Judge issued the non-bailable warrant since Goud did not appear before the judge for hearing for seven consecutive times.
Several women organizations staged protest against Ranganath Goud for allegedly outraging the modesty of the minor girl. The then Superintedent of Police, SB Bagchi ordered a case to be filed gainst Ranganath Goud under Sections 276 and 402.
