Golden Line Films and God Father Films are together producing the film titled ‘Ranga The Donga’ starring Srikanth, Vimala Raman and Ramya Krishna. The movie is directed by GV Sudhakar Naidu. GV is also a producer of the film along with CR Manohar. A press meet was held today at Film Nagar Cultural Center to announce the release date of the film. The press meet was attended by GV Sudhakar Naidu, Srikanth, Gautham Raju, CR Manohar, Chakri and Shivaji Raja.
Srikanth stars in this film as a thief Ranga, whose style of ‘stealing’ is unique. Vimala Raman plays a character affected by Srikanth, even though she is a cop appointed to catch him. On the whole, director Sudhakar Naidu believes that this film will be a laugh riot.
The music for this film has been rendered by Chakri. This will be another time Chakri will be doing a film for Srikanth, after Vamsi directed ‘Dongamogudu and Party’. Coincidentally Srikanth played the role of a thief even in that film.
Srikanth said, “After ‘Mahatma’, when producer Manohar approached me with this story, I instantly agreed to do the film. I’m doing two variety roles in this film. GV crafted the film more perfectly than what he had narrated. His taking is excellent. Chakri music is also excellent, especially the song ‘Vetade Simhamlaa…’.
