Botsa likely to be new PCC chief

Hyderabad, Nov 25 (INN): Minister in the erstwhile Rosaiah Cabinet Botsa Satyanarayana on Thursday stated that he was obedient to the wishes of the High Command and was ready to obey or assume any responsibility given to him by the party. When media persons asked Mr Satyanarayana to comment on the speculation that he would be named as the Pradesh Congress Committee president in place of incumbent D Srinivas, Mr Satyanarayana stated that he is ready to shoulder any responsibility given by party High Command.

Mr Satyanarayana's name has been increasingly floated as the most likely person to replace Mr Srinivas. Talk about the possibility of Mr Srinivas being replaced has been going on in political circles ever since he lost the by-elections from Nizamabad Urban earlier this year. Mr Satyanarayana expressed faith that new Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will be an able and affective administrator. He added that under the leadership of the young Chief Minister, the Congress party will become stronger and will make rapid strides into the hearts of the people.
