Superstar Rajnikanth’s Robo has been doing exceptional business in Telugu despite facing heavy competition from star studded straight films like Khaleja and Brindavanam. As per the trade reports, it has collected a whopping 23 crore rupees share in just two weeks. And this doesn’t include the shares from other states and overseas.
This is phenomenal on any parameters, say trade experts. Robo is super strong in its third week too. It is still running in multiple theatres even in B centers. It is all set to break Pokiri’s Nizam record within ten days going by the collections trend. Only Magadheera is out of reach for Robo at the moment in Nizam territory. If the collections remain to be this strong for another three to four weeks then Magadheera’s record too will be under threat.
This will be the biggest hit for both Rajni and Shankar in Telugu. Aishwarya Rai’s South cinema woes have been ended and now the beautiful lady is smiling like never before. AR Rahman who was associated with forgettable Puli that was released few weeks ago is extremely happy with ROBO
