Rajasekhar’s take on Daya Nayak

Encounter specialist Daya Nayak has been the favorite ‘character’ for many filmmakers for over a period of time. Many films were made with the inspiration of Daya Nayak until now. Ab Tak Chappan, Gharshana, Siddham, Golimaar are a few to name.

Now, Angry star Rajasekhar is stepping into the shoes of Daya Nayak for his latest flick ‘Mahankali’. This film was launched on Monday (October 18) at Ramanaidu Studios. C. Kalyan and IG Gopinadh Reddy did the honors for the first shot.

Rajasekhar’s family and few other film celebrities graced this event. Kartikeya is directing Mahankali on Anjeri arts banner that is owned by Eluru Surender Reddy and A. Parandham Reddy.

This film will be wrapped up in a single schedule. A portion of villain’s episodes will be shot in Bangkok. Pradeep Rawat, Saleem Panda, Ashish Vidhyardi, RK, Supreeth, Raghunadha Reddy and others are playing important roles in this film. PG Vinda is the cinematographer and Chinna is the music director.
