Chowdary Finally Breaks The Barriers

YVS Chowdary who has gone into hibernation after two back to back duds with Okka Magadu and Saleem, is back in action again with ‘Rey’. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew Sai Dharam Tej is making his silver screen debut with this film. Rey was launched on the auspicious Vijaya Dasami. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan were the center of attraction at this launch.

YVS Chowdary’s mentor Nandamuri Harikrishna and his son Kalyan Ram graced this event as special guests. Speaking to media on this occasion, YVS Chowdary revealed a secret about his stint with mega heroes. “I thought of making my first film ‘Seeta Ramula Kalyanam Chutamu Rarandi’ with Pawan Kalyan, but that didn’t happen. I approached Allu Arjun with Devadasu script and that too didn’t materialize. My plans to make a mega film with Megastar didn’t work out. Finally, I am launching a hero from their family with this film,” YVS said.

Subra Ayyappa and Amruta Patki are making their debut as heroines with Rey. Chakri composes the music for this film which is also being produced by YVS on his Bommarillu vari banner.
