Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra 1 is going great guns at the box office especially in Telugu. This film has got rave reviews and is doing tremendous business in all the territories.

Even though Rakta Charitra impressed critics, the trade circles expressed their doubts over its fate at the box office. However, Rakta Charitra 1 kicked out all the question marks and gave a stupendous answer in the form of collections.

Rakta Charitra 1 collected Rs. 5.14 crore share in just five days that too only in AP. RC 1 Telugu version collected a whopping 1 crore rupees gross in overseas. This has surprised many trade pundits who thought that this kind of serious flicks doesn’t survive in overseas. People over there only prefer films with entertainment value and comedy. But Rakta Charitra has created a new history by doing exceptional business in US.

Producer C. Kalyan confidently says that Rakta Charitra 2 will do wonders at the box office. Even the trade and film pundits feel the same.
