Actress-turned-producer Lakshmi Manchu's latest production Gundello Godari is one of the most-awaited movies in Telugu in 2012 and the movie buffs are eagerly waiting for its release in theatres.
The film was to release in November, but it was postponed due to the release of some of the big ticket movies like Damarukam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.

The latest we hear is that it is likely to be postponed to next year. Directed by debutante Kumar Nagendra, Gundello Godari is also simultaneously made in Tamil as Maranthen Mannithen.

The movie features Taapsee Pannu, Lakshmi Manchu, Aadi Pinisetty and Sundeep Kishan in the lead roles. The Ilaiyaraja composed music has got very good response. It is a whopping budget film, which has been in production for longtime.

Lakshmi Manchu's previous production Uu Kodatara Ulikkipadatara has failed to make it big at the Box Office. Now, the producer is taking all possible initiative to make it big hit.

But what is hindering its release is said to be a series of big-ticket movies that are lined up to release back to back in 2012.

However, a host of movies like Havish's Genius, Vikram Prabhu's Gaja Raju, Allari Naresh's Yamuduki Mogudu, Suresh Kondeti's Pizza and Telisi Teliyaka are slated to hit the screens this.

Ram Charan's Naayak, Vishal-Trisha's Vethadu Ventadu, Mahesh and Venkatesh's Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu will release as Sankranthi treat in 2013.

Source from the industry say that Gundello Godari is expected to release after Sankranthi in 2013.
