Famous producer M. S. Raju, who in the past have made hit movies like "Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham, Pournami, Aata" on Sumanth Arts banner, has a long cherished wish to make his son Sumanth Ashwin a film hero. For this, he got a story ready by himself and approached director Teja to direct it. Raju had second thoughts later and considered Thammareddy Bharadwaja's co-director Hari's name, but dropped him too after sometime. Raju then wanted to get the film directed by "Manthra" fame young director Thulasiram. Again he changed his mind and thought of engaging director Kodi Ramakrishna. He dispensed of with that too and finally decided to entrust the work to another young and dynamic director V N Adithya, whom Raju himself has introduced as director. It is heard that, after working on the film's script and screenplay, Raju dumped Adithya also, telling him that he himself will direct the movie. It is said that famous producer and political leader Maganti Babu's son Maganti Ramji is the co-producer of this movie. By the way, Raju has the indomitable reputation for making a box office disaster as a director out of his debut movie "Vaana", which was a remake of Kannada hit film. Cine people in Filmnagar say that, instead of directing the film himself, Raju should opt for some capable director under his supervision to handle the flick. After all, it's his son's debut movie!
