Confident Mahesh Turns Idiot

Prince Mahesh is elated with the response over his performance in Khaleja. Mahesh tried his hand at mass comedy for the first time in his career and it has been getting rave reviews even from the fans of other heroes. This response has triggered the confidence in Mahesh to take up few more comedy and lighter vein subjects.

Mahesh, who has been dilly-dallying on taking up the remake of 3 Idiots, finally gave a positive nod to do the film, say sources. Shankar, who is riding high on the success of Robo will direct this film in Telugu and Tamil. Vijay will do the role of Aamir Khan in Tamil version. Ileana is likely to play the female lead in both the versions.

Shankar is only known for original films till now. He agreed to remake this film as he felt there is lot of potential in 3 Idiots subject. He will only take the theme of 3 Idiots and change the entire script according to the tastes of South Indian audiences it seems. That sounds promising, isn’t it?
