56-feet Durga idol gutted in Vizag

Visakhapatnam: The 56-foot Durga Devi Vigraham which was set up near the Gajuwaka Samtha Nagar Junction was burnt to ashes. However the reason for the fire, said to have taken place early Tuesday morning, is yet to be ascertained. The destruction of the idol has left the devotees devastated. The police is probing into the incident.
