Power Star Pawan Kalyan is taking his time for the remake of Oh My God.
He has not joined the set of Gopala Gopala yet. According to rumours,
Pawan is taking his role seriously and he is spending time with his
team to get his look and dialogues right.
Meanwhile, the film is being shot on Venkatesh and the rest of the team. Pawan is going to join the unit at a later date. The film is being planned for a October launch.
Kishore Pardhasani is the director of the film and Anoop Rubens is composing the music. Sharath Marar and Suresh Babu are producing this movie jointly.

Akshay Kumar as Lord Krishna and Paresh Rawal as an atheist, who sues God had entertained the Bollywood audiences. Now a remake is on the cards for this film. Venkatesh will reprise Paresh Rawal and Pawan Kalyan reprises Akshay Kumar in this film. Shriya Saran, who made a big comeback with ‘Manam’, will pair up with Venkatesh in this film. Initially, the movie’s title was considered as ‘Deva Devam Bhaje’. Since the title appeared to be too soft and too devotional, the makers have thought of other titles like ‘Go Go Go Govinda’, ‘Mr. Devudu’ etc. However, all these titles received quite a mediocre response among the cine goers. The latest we heard is that the makers have decided to confirm the movie’s title as ‘Gopala Gopala’. This title can definitely get the attention of the audiences. Moreover, the title is on the name of Pawan kalyan. If this title is finalized, Venkatesh must be appreciated for sacrificing the title of the movie to his co-star.
The regular shooting of the film will start soon. D.Suresh Babu and Sharat Marar are producing this film on Suresh productions and North Star Entertainment banners. Anoop Rubens is the music director. This is the first time that Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan will be seen together on the big screen.
