TCS using Facebook, LinkedIn for hiring:The recruitments of IT’s major Tata Consultancy Services is mostly in the Tier-I and Tier-II.55,000 people are being recruited by the city-headquarterd software service .and also 25,000 offer letters have already been given.TCS is trying more to hire the top talent for their requirements. and currently, the acceptance level is 72%.The recruitment is also done through digital channels. The process of recruitment has been changed totally and it has shaped in to new trends and platforms.

” TCS executive vice-president and global head-HR Ajoy Mukherjee told reporters here that recruitment done through new digital channels like Facebook and LinkedInand it had reduced the amount of hiring for the company by third-party recruiters.”We are piloting more digital training internally and we can extend this to campus hiring.
We are using Facebook network for hiring purposes. In fact, it has helped us do more and more hiring in a direct manner, rather than depending on external agencies for the same,” he added.He also said that there is no paper work for anything instead they had a portal so that registration can be done here and an online test will be taken. We have taken it up to the colleges,” Mukherjee said.”We have roped in external agencies, too, for hiring purposes. But, we are doing that in case of recruitment at senior levels only,” he added.
