Young tiger Jr NTR expressed his wish to remake his legendary grandfather’s Dana Veera Soora Karna many a time. He also wished that Rajamouli should direct the movie. But Rajamouli cleared the air by stating that he is not interested in remaking DVSK.

Rajamouli said that he is looking forward to do mythological film based on Maha Bharatha but also mentioned DVSK is not what he is looking at. To make things clear, he said that DVSK might take off in the combination of NTR Jr and Vinayak.
Vinayak has always been second choice for NTR if Rajamouli isn’t available and with Rajamouli stating that he is not ready to do DVSK, Vinay and NTR Junior should start off this project sometime in the future.

Update on Rajamouli’s Eega:
Writer Janardhana Maharshi is penning dialogues for Rajamouli’s Eega. M. Rathnam is a regular for Rajamouli films and this should be the big break for struggling Maharshi.
