Ramgopal Varma plans to take his whole unit to Anantapur on October 21st

The word ‘Maverick’ takes a new meaning altogether when used for director Ramgopal Varma. The famed director will be releasing his Raktacharitra, his violent filmy take on Rayalaseem faction wars , on October 21st.

The movie is based on Paritala Ravi and Maddelacheruvu Suri. As a result Ramgopal Varma had to face some warnings from people who support some of the characters involved with the afore mentioned real life characters. Inspite of all this RGV is planning to take his entire cast and crew to Anantapur, to watch the film on its first day of release.

This will only invited more trouble and will need lots of police security for the entire cast and crew. However, knowing RGV he can do anything for promoting his film and this statement could as well be on such promotional tactic!
