Indian Films - Post Endhiran

Superstar Rajnikanth Aishwarya Rai Endhiran mania is still on, but Telugu films are now starting to take a different leap. It is being reported that several filmmakers – even from Bollywood are now planning to create a similar Endhiran magic or perhaps even bigger.

Reports say that there are some serious talks going between Bollywood financial heavy weights and filmmakers to make a Bollywood movie that has same of bigger magnitude of Endhiran.

Bollywood analysts say that Endhiran – Robot has changed the mind set of many directors and producers. The emphases are now clearly on creativity and story rather anything else.

Even in Telugu movies, directors are planning to take a different route. However, with Telugu films budgets already nearing Rs. 50 crores, financiers would be pretty ready to fund something close to 100 crores. However, things would boil down to market capturing. Telugu movies need to expand their markets (like Tamil movies and Bollywood) to other states to get quick revenue.

Can these guys give Endhiran a run for their money? Well, maybe may be not!
