Anchor turned actress Udaya Bhanu is playing a prostitute in upcoming film ‘Madhumati’ directed by Raja Sreedhar. The film’s audio composed by Raj Kiran was released and Udaya Bhanu skipped the event. In fact, she was also to present for shooting of a special song but makers completed it with other actress. It is heard that, Udaya Bhanu is displeased with deprived treatment meted out to her by makers during the film’s shoot and also remuneration payment issues.
However, producers Kadiyam Ramesh and K. Rani Sreedhar claim that they have paid total due amount to Udaya Bhanu. As per inner sources, the makers are now planning to approach Movie Artists Association (MAA) and Producers council regarding Udaya Bhanu absence for audio launch and other promotional events. They are also to file a case in MAA.
Another buzz is that, Udaya Bhanu was molested by a group of guests in a marriage function attended by her in Rajahmundry recently. Therefore, upset with the incident, Bhanu is not coming out for some time. Only Udaya Bhanu knows the right reason for skipping the event!
As per the latest reports, Udaya Bhanu filed a complaint with the CCS Police stating that her photos were morphed and are placed in some of the websites.
