To increase darshan timings for the Sardarshanam holders, the Specified Authority of the TTD in its second meeting today decided to reduce VIP break period from one hour to 30 minutes.
Disclosing the major resolutions passed in the specified authority meeting held here, Authority Chairman J Satyanarayana and TTD Executive Officer I Y R Krishna Rao said it was decided to reduce VIP break darshan period in the morning and evening for the benefit of common devotees. ”There is limit in issuing other sevas except Abhishekam and Vastram performed on every Friday in Sri Vari temple under discretionary quota,” they said, adding the meeting also decided to limit to a maximum of 35 tickets of Abhishekam and Vastram under the quota.All the lacunae’s and lapses in the computer network of TTD would be reorganised and configurations and system upgraded, they said.The existing Kalyana Mandapam at Bangalore would be upgraded into auditorium to perform cultural programmes.On multi-crore Arjitha Seva tickets scam report submitted by state Vigilance and Enforcement and cases registered against some of the TTD employees they said as per the government’s directions necessary action would be taken against those involved in the malpractices in seva tickets scam.It was decided to contribute a sum of Rs 8.25 lakh to Kanchi Peetham, who performed ‘yagam’ at Vaishnavidevi Temple located in jammu and Kashmir on behalf of TTD, they added.
