Light to moderate rain or thundershowers would occur at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next 48 hours, the Met Office here said today.
Isolated rain or thundershowers would occur over Telangana and Rayalaseema, during the period.The outlook for subsequent two days is that there would be no large change.The sky condition over Hyderabad city and neighbouring areas would be generally cloudy over the next two days as rain or thundershowers would occur in parts of city. Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 33 and 23 degrees celsius respectively.Observations recorded till 0830 hours today said isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema.The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm are Tirupathi AP, Amalapuram (East Godavari dist), Banswada (Nizamabad dist), Bhimavaram (West Godavari dist), Gudivada and Paleru Bridge (both Krishna dist), Kadiri (Anantapur dist), Kuppam (Chittoor dist), Madhira (Khammam dist), Tenali (Guntur dist), Utnoor (Adilabad dist) one each.On Sunday, the maximum temperatures rose at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and changed little over Rayalaseema. They were above normal at one or two places over the state. The higest maximum temperature of 35 degrees celsius was recorded at Tuni and Rentachintala.The minimum temperatures changed little over the state. They were above normal at one or two places over Telangana and Rayalaseema and normal over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The lowest minimum temperature of 19 degrees celsius was recorded at Adilabad and Khammam, the Met Office added.
