Sonia will be playing the friend role of Samantha in Dookudu. After getting noticed for her unique features in Happy Days, Sonia went on to do films like Vinayakudu, Brahmalokam to Yamalokam etc. Despite the success of Vinayakudu, Sonia failed to bag good number of films as the lead lady.
She played Karthi’s friend in Tamil dubbed flick Aawara and that has caught the eye of Srinu Vytla who was then looking for a special actress to enact the role of heroine’s friend in his Dookudu. Sonia readily accepted the offer as she feels that doing such role in a big star’s film would do
