Kalyan lock horns with Raviteja

Nandamuri Kalyanram is not willing to put his ‘Kathi’ down despite Gunasekhar’s press release about his next project ‘Kathi’ with Raviteja. Gunasekhar owns ‘Kathi’ title for many a year and he never gave away the title to anyone as he felt that it is the apt name for one of his dream projects.

However, Kalyanram who is well aware of the rights owned by Gunasekhar, registered a new title ‘Kalyanram Kathi’ at Film Chamber, ala ‘Mahesh Khaleja’. Kalyanram released a press note to all the leading newspapers and channels that ‘Kalyanram Kathi’ was finalized as the title for his upcoming film. Gunasekhar was reportedly miffed with Kalyanram’s act and is now seriously seeking for justice.

Even though Mahesh’s Khaleja title war was similar to this one, it didn’t bother any of the industry people as the person who holds the rights of ‘Khaleja’ title is a smalltime producer. But here both Gunasekhar and Kalyanram are influential and popular persons of Telugu cinema industry. This ‘sword’ fight is catching many an eye at the moment. Let us wait and see who will be the proud owner of this ‘Kathi’.
