While the open truth is that Tamil director Shankar is having huge
market in Tollywood, his films ANiyan, Boys have failed in Tamil to some
extent but in Telugu he had never seen a flop, his last film Nanaban
was also average in Tamilnadu but it was a big hit at Telugu box office,
his latest film with Vikram “I” released few days back with huge craze
and superb advance bookings, though film received bad mouth talk still
it is surprising everyone with its collections, on day 1 it collected
nearly 7 Crores +, only our top four super stars Mahesh Babu, pawan
Kalyan , Ram Charan and Jr Ntr have got that number on day 1, Allu
Arjun, Prabhas are yet to touch that number.
The surprising thing is I’s second day collections, I has collected
nearly 4.5 Crores on its day 2 in Ap +TG, only Power star Pawan Kalyan
has got more than that number on day from Telugu super stars, with
Pongal advantage and genre of the movie, I is performing solidly at the
box office, now box office experts are wondering about it’s BO
performance if it could have been opened up with hit talk. I is
currently holding second place in Day 2 shares in Ap+Tg following
Atarintiki Daredi.
