I (AI) movie has been released worldwide today January 14th on the
occasion of Pongal. I Movie releasing around 3000 Screens all over the
world in 3 languages simultaneously Tamil, Telugu, Hindi. Movie original
language is Tamil and it was dubbed into Telugu and Hindi. I movie is
first South Indian Cinema to get a big release across the world with
major number of screens. It was shoot around 2-3 Years of Time period
for the transformation of Vikram character in this movie.
“I” Movie Starring Chaiyaan Vikram, Amy Jackson in the lead roles while other supporting roles were Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Santhanam, Ramkumar Ganesan, Srinivasan, Mohan Kapoor, Ojas M. Rajani. It was directed by the Creator of Robot (Enthiran) “Shankar” and produced by Aascar Ravi Chandran under the banner of Aascars pvt.limited. Music and Back Ground Score composed by Oscar Award Winner AR.Rahman. Cinematography done by the most experienced DOP Specialist PC Sreeram. Editing handled by Anthony while Art Work done by Muthuraj.
As the movie is releasing on pongal, the advance bookings for the movie has done a huge openings in the chennai and many places in India. The movie is expected to do well in the first week and expected to earn 100 crores in the first week on it’s release. As there is no movie which give good competition to “I”, expect the Aambala but it was able to get decent screens not comparable with “I”. Considering the Pongal season and lack of movies it can easily surpass the records of Robo. It also has great advantage as it is releasing on Telugu and Hindi on the same day. Telugu rights of the movie had sold at whooping 27 crores. Worldwide Theatricals were sold at 36 Crores. Both Vikram and Shankar having huge market in Telugu Film Industry. Even the trailers and Teasers looks promising, it will easily reach the audience. As the movie has already got hype from all sort of audience it is possibly do good even in overseas too. As it was Shankar’s movie, the film will attract all the audience and can be watchable with the family.

Shankar’s I movie set for Big opening and is for sure will be Dubbing Day 1 Record in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana . A & B Centres it will be Huge for sure. On the other hand, Gopala Gopala movie which was released 5 days back performing good at box office. I movie got decent number of screens both movies doesn’t effect much for these pongal releases. Gopala Gopala movie running 100 screens less than the Gopala Gopala as per now.
