Vinayak voice-over for Geetanjali

The shooting of Geetanjali, a heroine-centric film starring Anjali in the lead role and Srinivas Reddy and 'Satyam' Rajesh in pivotal characters is progressing at a brisk pace.

Tipped to be a horror-comedy, the movie is directed by Raj Kiran. The comedy episode of Brahmanandam is expected to be one of the highlights in the movie. There is also a separate song pictured on Brahmanandam for this movie. The movie starts with a voice-over by director VV Vinayak.

While the audio launch of the movie is planned for the second week of July, the movie itself is expected to release in August. Producer of Geethanjali, MVV Sathyanarayana has also played a small character in the movie.

In a media interaction, Sathyanarayana revealed that he had originally come to Tollywood with the intention of making a big film with NTR Jr, but writer Kona Venkat had advised him to do a small film first as it would enable him to understand the 24 crafts of filmmaking, the knowledge of which is highly essential in order to be a successful producer. The result is Geetanjali. Praveen Lakkaraju has composed the music for the film which has cinematography by Sriram.
