Studio Buzz: Nag's Smart Moves

Only star power can turn a small film into a big film. One hero who understands this best is Nagarjuna. Though he is the leading man, one part of him is a shrewd producer. If you watch his recent moves, you can clearly make out that he has been thinking on similar lines. He is presently supporting a small film to make it a big film. The said film titled Uyyala Jampala was made under the Annapurna Studios Banner. Made with entirely new cast, the film’s shooting has been silently wrapped up without any publicity. Usually, a film made under the Annapurna Studios banner has the Akkineni heroes playing the lead, but this film happens to be an exception. The film’s trailer has been released recently and it does capture eyeballs. Since such small films need the right kind of support, Nag has now entered the scene. Incidentally, he also happens to be the producer of the film.  Well known producer Suresh Babu and Indraganti Mohana Krishna have co-produced the film along with Nagarjuna. So, if you have three big names behind a small film, it automatically becomes a big film! Though the film would have been made on a modest budget, it will now get lots of publicity because of the big names associated with it. Also, since Nag is associated with the project, it means promotion on MAA TV and more free publicity. Even before the film releases, looks like the film will make its money. Well, what else can we say about Nagarjuna’s shrewdness!
