 Akkineni Nagarjuna plays roles that give actors half his 
age tough competition, but his son Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, who doesn't 
mind the "healthy competition", says as an actor he is always challenged
 by the roles his father portrays on screen.</div>

"Dad and I have a very healthy competition and it doesn't bother me. But
 I'm amazed at the roles he plays at his age. His roles such as a suave 
urban lover challenge me as an actor because at half his age, I wish I 
could play such roles," Chaitanya told IANS in an interview.<br />
<br />
"I understand how much people love him when women my age run to click 
pictures with him. Therefore, his presence in the industry would only 
challenge me to work harder but never pose a threat as competition," he 
added.<br />
<br />
Chaitanya, who belongs to the third generation of actors from the Akkineni family, chose a career in films by will.<br />
<br />
"Coming from Akkineni family, I could say I was drawn into cinema, but 
nobody forced me to become an actor. I was 19 or 20 when I was confused 
whether to take up films as a career. At that juncture, I enrolled in an
 acting workshop and then eventually realised I was destined to be in 
films," said Chaitanya, who made his cinematic debut in 2009 Telugu 
college flick "Josh".<br />

He says the star family status is a blessing.<br />
<br />
"I don't bear any pressure since I come from a star family. Initially I 
may have, but now I see it as a platform that many people wish they had.
 I take it as a blessing and work towards a bright future," he added.<br />
<br />
The 26-year old, who has starred in over half a dozen films, wants to follow in his dad's footsteps but gradually.<br />
<br />
"Dad always tells me to do a variety of roles. I know I have done films 
mostly in romance and action genre because for a few more years I want 
to do roles I will be comfortable with. I don't think I'm ready yet to 
do an "Annamayya" because I need the experience to pull off these 
offbeat roles," he said.<br />
<br />
With hits such as "100% Love" and "Ye Maaya Chesave" to his credit, 
Chaitanya says he prefers the script over box-office numbers.<br />
<br />
"A box-office number is good for a producer and the industry to keep the
 turnover game on, but as an actor I give importance to script. I will 
turn down a script, even if it guarantees Rs. 100 crore, when I'm not 
convinced with it," he said.<br />

"When I like a script, I take effort to add some commercial elements 
such that it does good business. I tell my director and make small 
changes that will attract audiences to come and watch the film more than
 once," he added</li>

As per some reliable sources, the next film of duo Boyapati and 
Balakrishna will have Sonia of 7G Brindavan Colony playing the main lead
 in the film. Actress Sonal Chauhan was already finalised to play the 
second lead in the film and the film makers were on a lengthy deciding 
process as to who will play the main lead. While there are many 
unsupported rumors float that Tamannah, Kajal and Amrita Rao were 
approached, the film makers say that they want a lady who will look that
 part opposite NBK as per the script. Sonia, who impressed the audience 
with her performance in 7G took a long sabbatical from films post her 
relationship with director Selvaraghavan, that only fell apart later. 
The lady is now back in circuit, listening to good scripts and signing 
up the right roles. The Boyapati film is in full progress now at RFC, 
with important scenes on the villain, Jagapati Babu being canned. NBK 
will join the team shortly as he is busy with rituals post his 
daughter’s wedding that was held royally off late.

rightful eyes are found for replacement. One day Mallika finds Lalith’s 
dairy and starts reading his love story with an upcoming singer Swathi 
(Saranya). Will Lalith get back his sight? Did Lalith find his love 
Swathi (Saranya)? How will Mallika help Lalith forms the rest of the

The performances by the actors are pretty ordinary and it never helps
 the film in anyway as well. Charmy Kaur, known for some most riveting 
performances in Telugu cinema has been continuing with a rather dismal 
show doing forgettable films one after the other for a quite a time now,
 and the latest addition to that list is Prema Oka Maikam. Rahul 
character is lazily written and he failed to impress as a writer. Its 
second inning for Saranya (10th Class fame) but she has nothing much to 
do in this poorly written script. The rest of the cast has limited roles
 to play.<br />

The director, who has scripted the film himself with the help of his 
PRO Pulagam C. Narayana, has focused on a handful of characters here. No
 problems about that if it has been told well. The pre climax is 
narrated during the first half and then, the incidents that led to it 
all are being told as flashbacks. With incidents that are far from 
convincing and a script, which is not so great by any means, the film 
moves ahead in highly predictable lines. There are some sequences aimed 
to tickle the funny bone, but the attempts falls flat. MGK Praveen and 
S.R.Posam could have made this a musical treat. Even meaningful lyrics 
are wasted in the film. Cinematography by Praveen K Bangari is very 
amateurish. Editing by V. Nagireddy could have been crispier. Movie can 
be easily cut short by half an hour in the first half. At almost two 
hours and forty minutes, the film never seems to end. Production values 
from Touring Talkies banner are very poor.<br />

funny at times and lacks much fizz. The entire film looks waste of 
money, energy and time. Go for this one only if you are a hardcore fan 
of Charmy Kaur!<br />

Actor Rana Daggubati is relieved at having successfully completed a
 marathon schedule for upcoming Telugu period-drama Baahubali. He says 
on certain days, the team even shot nonstop for over 24 hours.

"(I) finished my marathon second schedule of Baahubali. Day starting 
from 7 am (to) all the way to 10 pm and the training till midnight," 
posted Rana on his Twitter page.

"And the one special weekend where we shot from Sunday morning 7 (to) 
all the way to Monday morning 8. An epic shoot little over 24 hours," he
 added.

He says it's because of this hectic schedule that he has not been active
 on Twitter.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali also features Prabhas Varma, Anushka
 Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh and Kiccha 
Sudeep.

The film, co-produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, K Raghavendra Rao and Prasad 
Devineni, is being simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil.

Let's hope their hard work and effort gets payed back at the Box Office

Raviteja and Harish Shankar shares a great bonding since

Actor Ram Charan Tej, who will soon be making his big debut into 
Bollywood with Apoorva Lakhia’s Zanjeer, was seen attending few 
primetime TV shows in Mumbai. He was seen on National TV, amidst the 
judges of a dance show and an extremely popular comedy show with star 
comedian Kapil Sharma. Ram was seen talking in Hindi and English, in a 
rather funny diction and accent. While this has embarassed native 
audience heavily, one wonders how the crowd from North is reacting to 
that. Some sources from inner circles say this was a very risky move, to
 show up on TV before a much awaited grand debut in Hindi. The star is 
yet to test waters in Bollywood and this silly appearance might pose to 
threat his image even before he strikes the screen. Ram was also found 
looking very out of place in these shows, adding more obstacles to the 
specualtions on hand. While the trailer of the film looks promising and 
the talks about Charan’s dedication are all afloat, the southern Star 
should have simply underplayed till the limelight happened – just like 
Dhanush did before Raanjhana. Well, let us wait and watch how this 
unfolds on Charan’s sleeve after all.

Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja was apprehensive to star in the remake
 of Zanjeer, but says it was his superstar father Chiranjeevi, who came 
to his rescue and made him sign the film, which is the remake of the hit
 1973 Amitabh Bachchan starrer. The movie marks his debut in Bollywood 
debut. The 28-year-old actor admits that the thought of reprising the 
megastar's iconic character Vijay was unnerving at first.

In an interview to PTI, Ram Charan Teja told, "I was in two minds when I
 was approached for the film. I could not decide whether to do the film 
or not as it was a remake of a very hit Amitabh Bachchan film. I was 
aware that there would be a lot of expectations. I even thought of 
rejecting the offer." He added, "But it was dad who made me sign the 
film. He told me that I should only reject a film if the script is bad 
and not because I am scared to try something new. He made me realise 
that offers like this don't come everyday."

In 2007, Ram Charan Teja forayed into films with Telegu movie Chirutha, 
which earned him a Filmfare South award for Best Debut. His second 
release Magadheera got him his second Filmfare, this time for best 
actor. The actor, who has also starred in Telegu movies like Orange, 
Racha and Naayak, is just five films old. The Telugu actor was surprised
 when director Apoorva Lakhia approached him to star in Zanjeer remake. 
Ram Charan said, "I was taken aback when I was offered this film. I know
 it is a remake of a very hit film which was path-breaking in every 
possible way. When I read the adaptation I was very impressed."<br /><br /> </div>
