Basking in the success of his recent Blockbuster Balupu, Telugu
actor Ravi Teja will start shooting for his next untitled project in the
last week of September. Filmmaker YVS Chowdhary, who is producing the
next film of Mass Maharaja, has roped in Bobby, who was the scriptwriter
of Balupu, to direct the actor.

Talking to IANS, producer YVS Chowdhary said, "The film was officially
launched a few days back. Regular shooting stars from this month-end.
Bobby is all set to give Ravi Teja's fans another hit soon. It's an
action entertainer laced with comedy in appropriate proportion."
Balupu Writer Set To Direct Ravi Teja

Chowdhary had earlier produced Ravi Teja's Telugu movie Nippu, which
turned out to be a disaster. The producer added, "Success and failure is
part and parcel of any profession. A director or an actor can't be
blamed for the failure of a film because so many other factors are taken
into consideration. I don't let these things affect me."

YVS Chowdhary is currently on a hunt for a suitable heroine and other
supporting cast. Meanwhile, it is being reported that Ravi Teja will
soon make his Bollywood debut with Yamla Pagla Deewana director Samir
Karnik's next movie, which is expected to go on floors by the end of the
year 2013.

Raviteja and Harish Shankar shares a great bonding since
years. Till date, they have worked for four films ('Veede', 'Naa
Autograph', 'Shock', 'Mirapakay') and out of them three were colossal
flops but the failure only strengthened their friendship bond.

Harish
Shankar feels Raviteja is like a godfather to him in the Film Industry.
"Though 'Shock' was a disaster, Raviteja never treated me like a flop
director. He gave me one more chance 'Mirapakay' to prove my talent and
this opportunity has improved my confidence levels. Without Raviteja, I
have no film career," said the director.

Explaining about their
bonding, Harish said he worked with Raviteja for the first time as an
associate director for 'Veede'. For 'Naa Autograph', he was co-director
and during this time friendship has developed between them. Harish says
the actor never treated him like a co-director and he used to be very
friendly with him.

May be, the good rapport between Harish and
Raviteja might last forever just alike that of Chiru-Kodandaram and
Balayya-B Gopal bonding

The trend of south Indian films especially those from Tollywood
making their way into Bollywood has increased largely and why not when
they are minting 100 crores at the box office. The fact that big star
heroes are showing interest in picking up remake rights has enriched
Tollywood by few extra crores.
Now, another film to join that list is ‘Balupu’. According to
reports, the success of ‘Balupu’ has already started making a buzz in
Bollywood and after knowing that the film is a super hit, big names are
vying for the rights. It is heard that the likes of Akshay Kumar and
Salman Khan are competing for the rights.
The other plus point for the film was Shruti Haasan’s glamour so if
the remake thing works then chances of Shruti reprising her role also
look high. This will work also in favor for Ravi Teja because he is also
gearing up for a debut in Bollywood and that would give him a good
introduction. Already, his blockbuster hit ‘Kick’ is being remade by
Salman Khan.
