'Hear The Whole Picture' Invites Dolby Atmos, the
latest edition of sound engineering technology from Dolby Laboratories.
Dolby Atmos delivers audiences a more natural and realistic sound field,
transporting them into in to the story with a lifelike sensory
experience. Developed with inputs from Hollywood professionals, Dolby
Atmos represents a dynamic shift in audio, reinventing the traditional
surround sound methodology and offering a complete platform for sound
now and well into the future.
Introducing the technology in the 'Thoofan' audio
launch event, Country Manager, Dolby Laboratories Pankaj Kedia said
'It's one of its kind first in Hyderabad and Prasadz is the first
theater in Hyderabad to have installed the system. In addition to
playing back a standard 5.1 or 7.1 mix using arrays, the system will
give each loudspeaker its own unique feed, thereby enabling many new
front, surround, and even ceiling-mounted height channels for the
precise panning of select sounds such as a helicopter or rain.
