If Ra.One dolls weren’t enough to capitalise on, the Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan has done it yet again.
Don 2, which is releasing next week will have official merchandise in the form of a bobblehead.
Another bobblehead that has been doing the rounds is that of American business magnate and icon Donald Trump. Apart from Don 2, fans also want to see other stars selling their merchandise in the form of bobbleheads. And topping that list is undoubtedly the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
For Abhishek Rao, a die-hard Tendulkar fan who prefers to call himself a devotee rather than a fan, says that Sachin’s bobblehead would be fun to own.
“It might be a cliche, but it’s true. Cricket is a religion in India and Sachin is our God. It would be interesting to see the way one would design his bobblehead and amazing if it could have his trademark squeaky voice. In fact, I am surprised that Sachin doesn’t have his bobblehead yet,” says Rao.
Sachin is not the only one on the wishlist of many who love to collect merchandise. Manish Shah, an 18-year-old, too would love to have his own miniature idol of Sachin Tendulkar. “We have all grown up watching the master play. Considering the inspiration he has offered to the nation, it is only fair that we have a bobblehead of the icon.
Tanya Kumar, advertising professional wants to see a bobblehead of Hrithik Roshan. “It would be awesome to have his bobblehead,” she says.
