Later addressing the gathering Nageswara Rao said, “This diary is being very useful to all including me who has been in the movie industry for the past 60 years. I’m very lucky to release this diary every year. I hope this diary will continue to be for ever and I wish this year should be a prosperous one for the movie industry. We started this diary during our period only but no association was formed at that time. According to me films should be made based on good stories and not on stardom and new techniques.”

Murali Mohan said, “2010 was a bad year not only to the state but also for the movie industry. Right now the Telugu film industry strike is still continuing. I hope all the problems will be solved and the new year will be a better year for all of us.”
