Brindavanam opened to divide talk on day one and slowly went on to pickup at the cash counters. Even though the collections on day 1 are below par, Brindavanam managed to hold its ground in Dussera Holidays and was hugely benefited by them. First week closing shares as per producer Dil Raju were astounding. If these collections are to be believed then Brindavanam had surely set a new benchmark for first week collections.

First week collections breakup as per the producer’s press release:

Nizam: 5,50,00,000
Ceded: 4,33,29,132
Nellore: 79, 50,000
Guntur: 1.58,00,000
Vizag: 1,51,54,600
Krishna: 1,09,53,670
East: 99,00,500
West: 98,72,570
Karnataka: 2,35,89,420
Overseas: 2,60,00,000
North India: 39,10,420

Total: 22,14,60,312

Incidentally this total is just slightly over Khaleja’s first week break up given by its producers!!
