Director Krish initially selected Tamannah for the role and dropped her as soon as her re-entry film ‘Himmatwala’ went traceless at box-office. They have even considered Ileana for the role before selecting Shruti Haasan who is on a roll after the release of ‘D-Day’ and ‘Ramaiah Vastaviah’ in Bollywood.
Unable to digest her ouster, it is heard Tamannah made some nasty remarks on Shruti Haasan with her friends. Learning about Tamannah foul cry, Shruti Haasan called Tamannah and verbally dressed her down, says sources.
