The actor-producer-director has acquired the remake rights of Malayalam movie 'Salt N Pepper' and is planning to remake the movie in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada simultaneously.
Prakash Raj, who was in Kerala recently to take part in a film festival, was impressed watching Salt N Pepper. He immediately approached its producers and signed a deal to remake the movie in other south Indian languages, it is said.
The acclaimed actor, who is now busy directing a bilingual titled 'Dhoni', will start working on 'Salt N Pepper' soon. He may play the lead role in the movie, besides wielding the megaphone and producing it, maintain sources.
Known for backing meaningful movies, Prakash Raj's production ventures include 'Mozhi', 'Abhiyum Naanum', 'Azhagiye Theeye' and 'Inidhu Inidhu'. His forthcoming film 'Dhoni' is said to be on the syllabus-burden faced by young students.
